My name is Andrei Selivanov.
For the past few years, I’ve been living between two worlds — the world of wind, salt, and fiberglass, and the world of code, cables, and servers.
I’m a licensed sailing captain with a background in electronics, IT systems, and hands-on engineering.
I’ve refitted catamarans, crossed oceans, designed and built custom monitoring systems, and fixed things in places where few others could.
This website is my logbook and workshop — a place where I document the projects I’ve completed and the ones I’m eager to build next.
I work at the intersection of marine technology and IT infrastructure. I help people maintain, repair, upgrade, and understand their boats and systems — both offshore and onshore.
I believe in practical solutions — simple, reliable, and well-documented.
I believe that knowledge should be shared, and tools should be built with care.
And I believe boats and computers have more in common than most people think.
I’ve learned that good work — whether afloat or ashore — comes from attention, humility, and persistence.
And I believe the future is still wide open for those who keep learning, building, and moving forward.
I’m currently developing a lightweight, open-source platform for remote boat monitoring — built on ESP32 microcontrollers, Bluetooth communication, and cloud-based dashboards.
I’m also working toward launching a small training program for new sailors, focused on confident, safe handling of modern sailing catamarans.
If any of this resonates with you — feel free to reach out.
Let’s build something together.
